Our Website
Our website is to enable the people of Bideford and visitors to see what the Pollyfield Community Centre is all about. The aim is for you to visit and join as a member or maybe just come along and join in the activities available at the centre. We have a wide range of regular activities as well as one off events. You don't have to pay to become a member! We run the Shamwickshire Bar, where you can come along with friends and have a drink and play pool, darts and crib or just meet the locals!

So why not visit us!

We are Volunteers
The Trustees of Pollyfield and the Directors of the Bar are all volunteers, we don't get paid for what we do. We want to serve our Community and try to get as many people as possible involved at the Centre. Our main aim is to make people feel at home when visiting us and to encourage local people to use our facilities and benefit from the services we provide.

The Pollyfield Centre can be found next to the large recreation ground at the end of Avon Road. Use the Google map above to get directions to the centre.

 

Opening Times

Shamwickshire Bar:

Monday 7:00 p.m.  -  11:00 p.m.
Tuesday 7:00 p.m.  -  11:00 p.m.
Wednesday      7:00 p.m.  -  11:00 p.m.
Thursday 7:00 p.m.  -  11:00 p.m.
Friday 4:00 p.m.  -  12:00 p.m.
Saturday 11:00 a.m.  -  12:00 p.m.
Sunday 11:00 a.m.  -  11:00 p.m.

Note: Strictly no admittance after 11:00 p.m.

The main centre itself is open for access to the Shamwickshire Bar at all times listed above, and at other times according to the activites and/or private activities that are running on any given day.
